Date: The 2nd Thursday every month Location: 3500 Marais Ave. Royal Oak MI 48073 followed by a railroad-themed presentation. Prior presentations have included steam excursions films from the 1960s, a slide show of a rail-fan trip through the American South circa 1953 and a presentation on the first twenty years of the Burlington Northern Railroad. Attendees at Chapter meetings often receive advance notice of Bluewater passenger excursions. Guests are always welcome at chapter meetings. Board meetings are also held here on the last Monday of every other month, Guest are also welcome. |

Membership is open to everyone interested in the history of railroading. No formal railroading experience necessary. Enjoy learning about rail history, networking with people of similar interests and assisting in a worthwhile historic endeavor. Our members share in a common special interest in passenger trains, railroad operation, travel and the preservation of history, travel and historic preservation.
